Unity Premier · $30 per accepted return

Your clients can't see your software. They can see this.

Unity Premier is a designation, not an upgrade. Ten dollars more per accepted return covers firm-wide audit protection on every return you file, the UnityOS platform to run the office between seasons, featured placement in the Unity Tax Partners Office Locator, and the plaque, decal, and seal that tell someone walking through your door what kind of office they just walked into.

First, what doesn't change

Nothing inside the return is different.

Same software. Every form, every state, 1040s and business returns. Same Republic Bank refund transfers with nothing pulled from your client's refund. Same support, same onboarding, same data conversion.

Premier doesn't unlock a better version of Unity. There isn't one. Everything in the $20 stays in the $20.

Premier is what you put around the return: protection for the client, a platform for the office, and a mark on your door that says so.

Four things

What the extra ten dollars buys.

Firm-wide audit protection

Unity Tax Shield covers every return your office files. Not a per-client upsell you have to remember to pitch, and not something your client pays for. It's on by default, on all of it.

UnityOS

Everything to run the office, included. Appointment booking, text and email in one place, a secure client portal for document exchange, invoicing and payments, campaign tools for the months you're not filing. Built for a tax office out of the box, not a blank platform you have to configure.

Featured placement in the Office Locator

A public directory of Unity offices, launching this season. Premier offices carry the badge and appear first. It's new, and it grows with the network.

The Premier certification kit

A wall plaque, a window decal, a website badge, and a digital seal for your email signature and social profiles. Physical, printed, and shipped, so the designation exists somewhere other than an invoice.

More than a line on a bill

Most of what you're good at is invisible to your clients.

They can't see that your software checks every line. They can't see your security plan. They can't see that you carry protection on their return whether they asked for it or not.Premier makes it visible. The plaque goes on the wall behind you. The decal goes in the window before they walk in. The seal goes on the email that confirms their appointment. None of it is decoration. Each one points at something you actually do.

What a Premier Office commits to:

  • Audit protection on every return filed, at no cost to the client
  • A secure portal for exchanging documents, with no returns emailed as attachments
  • A Written Information Security Plan on file, as the IRS requires
  • Year-round reachability, not a door that locks in May
UnityOS, included

Preparing returns is four months. Running the office is twelve.

Every Premier office gets UnityOS at no extra cost: one place to book clients, talk to them, collect their documents, take payment, and stay in front of them the rest of the year.

Before the season

Reach last year's clients in November instead of hoping they come back. Email and text campaigns to your own client list. A booking page that starts filling January before January gets here. A simple website and landing pages if you don't have them.

During the season

Online booking with automatic text and email reminders, so fewer people no-show. Missed calls trigger an automatic text back, so the phone ringing at 4:40 on a Tuesday in February stops being a lost client. A secure portal for documents instead of a photo of a W-2 in a text thread. Every call, text, and email for a client on one screen, so whoever picks up knows what's already been said. Invoices and card payments.

After the season

Extensions, amended returns, and the notices that show up in July all live in the same place. And you can ask for a Google review while the client is still happy. Reviews are what the next walk-in reads before they pick you.

Set up, not handed over

This is where tools like this usually die. UnityOS arrives already configured for a tax office, with calendars, templates, and campaigns built, your name on it instead of ours, and we train you and your staff on it. We also turned most of it off on purpose. You're running a tax office, not a marketing department.

Included with Premier. No per-user seat, no separate monthly bill.
Let's Be honest about this

Premier isn't for every office.

If you're heads-down on volume and your clients come back on their own, Standard is the right call and we'll say so. Nothing about it is second-tier.

Premier is for the office that's growing and starting to feel it: appointments in three places, documents over text, no clean way to reach last year's clients in November. And it's for the office competing on a street where three other preparers charge about what you charge, and you need a reason a walk-in picks you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Premier per return or per office?

You elect it for the office. Every accepted return is then billed at $30 instead of $20.

Does my client pay anything for the audit protection?

No. Nothing is pulled from the refund, at either price.

Does Premier change my software or my bank products?

No. Identical at both prices.

Do I have to use UnityOS to be a Premier office?

No. It's included, and we'll set it up and train you on it. If you already run something you like, the protection, the locator placement, and the certification stand on their own.

Nothing about the return changes. Everything around it can.
